Ski Trip

OK so Danny and I both had the flu for a couple of days... I think I had it worse ... anyway.. We already had a fun filled ski day planned so even though we were a little weak from being sick we decided to go anyway! Yea! It actually turned out to be PERFECT conditions! The snow was the perfect amount of powder it was fairly sunny and just amazing skiing. I kept clear of the double black diamonds.. maybe later :) I guess when we started my one boot wasn't clicked onto my ski too tight because there was snow on the bottom of my boot so we were going down and my ski's barely crossed and my ski came right off!! so here I am going down with one ski in the middle of a turn so I had to try and fall quick and luckily a skier helped me get my ski that was up the mountain. Also I thought I would be cool like Danny and go in the deep powder that is on the side in the trees that he loves sooo much and well with my luck i hit a hole!!! I am serious a hole! one of my legs went down in it and I was stuck. It took me a few min to get my leg and ski out of that one which was pretty funny to watch I'm sure! All in all though, we both made it through alive and had a lot of fun! So I thought I'd share some pics with you.

Christmas Party!

Thanks Hailey for such a FUN christmas party!! I loved it!!! I love seeing you guys and getting together with the bountiful crew. hehe.. anyway I loved the pic kim posted so I thought i'd put it up too. Thanks again!! Yea! Chirstmas is only 8 days away!

Well I'm finally done with Fall '07 at Weber.  Feels good.  This is my first weblog.  The word "blog" isn't a word. It's a lazy way to say weblog. There I said it.

First Presidency Christmas Devotional

I won I won!! Ok so this year for the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional they randomly selected people that put in to receive tickets so it would be a fair selection instead of the usual first click on the Internet wins! So I put in three times and we got a set of tickets! YEA!! The music was amazing and the talks were inspiring. I love this time of year. The spirit of kindness seems to always be in the air and people are more likely to give and enjoy the "spirit" of the season. The Christmas Devotional was the perfect way to start it off!! I feel so blessed to have so much that I hope I can also give a little to those around me during the holidays. Only 19 days until Christmas!! YEA!


I got eight tickets so I invited my parent's and Danny's family to join us!

I've been tagged by Emi Leger.. So here it goes.

1. I like to cross my feet when I drive. Weird huh? I know and its probably dangerous but most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it!! But I always find my left foot tucked behind my right one! Maybe for support.. maybe cuz its comfy :)

2. I have a problem with people whistling in public. I don't know why but I can't stand when people walk through stores whistling.... STOP IT!!

3. I LOVE cleaning. Yes some will disagree but since I've been married I've obsessed with a clean cute decorated house. This is not to say that its ALWAYS clean but I find myself constantly looking around the house thinking of what I need to do next. I think it might be a newly wed thing.. who knows.

4. I LOVE Latin Dancing. Ok some of you already know this... but I love it I love it!! It is so fun to me to get out there and salsa or whatever. Something about Latin dancing helps relieve stress and burn off calories :) The only downside to this is that I havn't quite convinced Danny to take me yet!

5. Only one person has found this.. and yes it was Danny the man with microscopes for eyes. I have a dent in my right eyelid!! Ok so its actually my bottom eyelid or whatever you call it and one day Danny discovered this little dent on the rim of my eyelid! Crazy huh? I'll show you next time I see ya just ask :)

6. I love tiny things. ... Little shoes, tiny ketchup bottles, baby corn, anything little that is normaly big I think is adorable. I think its a fedish with tiny things. Or maybe my inner mom wanting a "tiny" little one of my own... we'll see.

Christmas is comming!!

So can I just say that I'm soooo excited for Christmas. To me its not all about the gifts but about having a little free time to be with family. I love the cozy feeling of drinking hot coco, having a sparkling Christmas tree and watching it snow outside. Of course if you know me at all you'll know I'm NOT a fan of the cold but I do like the white winter land when it is actually Christmas Day. I actually got so excited that I HAD to put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving. My cute mother-in-law took me to Tai Pan and bought me all the decorations for my tree as an early Christmas gift!! We spent 3 hours circling the store until we found the perfect decorations. Then I spent another two and a half hours decorating our tree while Danny watched/napped.. haha It was super fun for me :) It will actually be our first Christmas as a little family so I think it will be fun. Now we just have to make it through the next couple of weeks until finals and school are over for the semester!! I'll post pics of our fun Christmas tree and decorations soon!! I'm glad we only have a two bedroom apartment right now because I didn't realize how much I LOVE decorating!! We would be broke if I had more.. space to decorate! haha.. Merry Christmas!!
