Wii-itis

Because of our new month membership to blockbuster we have been trying out every wii game known to man.. As a result Danny and I both suffer from the following condition... Wii-itis! It's a brutal one!

Nintendo DL: Acute Wiiitis

The New England Journal of Medicine is the most recent governing body to recognize the vast impact of the Nintendo Wii. The case report is pretty ominous, citing the difficulty in diagnosing the musculoskeletal syndrome. Even if the patient’s Nintendo habits are added to the physician’s standard stock of examination questions;

“Future games could involve different and unexpected groups of muscles. Physicians should be aware that there may be multiple, possibly puzzling presentations of Wiiitis.”

Perhaps the next generation of Wii Sports should include a physical therapy mini-game, or work out some sort of deal for sports massage therapists to accept Wii points.

Warren Miller Time!

Ok so I know I've just posted like 5 different things but I just haven't had time to update our blog with everything that's been going on.. and now it is 12:30 and my church starts at 1pm.. I had better hurry and get ready but I just had to post one more... WARREN MILLER!! Can I just say that I am so happy that Danny loves to ski just as much as I do! He is way better than me of course but shares my passion for skiing. So every year we go to the Warren Miller Film here in Utah. This year was awesome and we had a lot of fun. I even found an awesome chair made of skiis!! I think I might bribe my Dad into making it for me someday :) Go Warren Miller! If you don't know what warren miller is check out their site HERE. Happy Birthday LaLa!!

So my adorable Sis-in-Law Laura turned 22 on October 10. We went out to dinner with her that night and it was super fun. But after she had to go back to Provo so we didn't get to fully celebrate so a couple weeks later we saw her at Sunday Dinner and so I decided to make her a Barbie Cake (thanks for the inspiration Kim) Before her birthday we had talked about things that we always wanted as kids but never got (POWERWHEELS FOR ME!) and she had always wanted a clapper and would sometimes clap in her room just to check and see if she had gotten one.. also she always wanted barbies but that dream rarely happened... so Danny and I decided to make her childhood fantasies come true this birthday so Danny got her the ultimate clapper and I made her a barbie cake :) It was fun but I wished it would have turned out a little better.
More important than that I just have to say how much I love Laura! She is such an adorable person and so happy all of the time. I really love being around her. I always wanted to have a sister and she is just so amazing I am so lucky to be a part of her family. I especially love going shopping for hair stuff even though the first time she took me I knocked over a whole display of combs .. yes I am really coordinated... but we just laughed and have always had so much fun together. She really is a great person and fun Sister to have! I love ya Laura!

Jazz Game

Last night (Saturday) my friend Kevin gave us his season tickets for the Jazz game!! We really had big plans to stay home all night and play the Wii but though the Jazz Game sounded a little more fun. So it was a great game and Jazz won big time! Thanks Kev for the tickets!! You're the best! After the game we decided to make it a date night and went to the Yogurt Stop in bountiful. They have the beset yogurt and you can put all your own toppings... i got chocolate and pumpkin... YUM!! It was a fun and much needed date night break :)

Witches Night Out!

So my mom and I went to Witches Night out at Gardner Village. It was super fun to shop and hang out with the hundreds of witches there! Next year we plan to really dress up. Thanks Mom for a fun girls night out! Love you!!! xoxox
