Christmas is comming!!

So can I just say that I'm soooo excited for Christmas. To me its not all about the gifts but about having a little free time to be with family. I love the cozy feeling of drinking hot coco, having a sparkling Christmas tree and watching it snow outside. Of course if you know me at all you'll know I'm NOT a fan of the cold but I do like the white winter land when it is actually Christmas Day. I actually got so excited that I HAD to put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving. My cute mother-in-law took me to Tai Pan and bought me all the decorations for my tree as an early Christmas gift!! We spent 3 hours circling the store until we found the perfect decorations. Then I spent another two and a half hours decorating our tree while Danny watched/napped.. haha It was super fun for me :) It will actually be our first Christmas as a little family so I think it will be fun. Now we just have to make it through the next couple of weeks until finals and school are over for the semester!! I'll post pics of our fun Christmas tree and decorations soon!! I'm glad we only have a two bedroom apartment right now because I didn't realize how much I LOVE decorating!! We would be broke if I had more.. space to decorate! haha.. Merry Christmas!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yea it's Thanksgiving!! So Danny and I did Thanksgiving twice this year. We went with my family in the morning and then to his parent's house in the evening. We were super full by the end of the day! But it was super fun to be with family and enjoy some good games of Dominos.. which yes Morgan is the DOMINATOR!! hehehe..

My dad had earrings made out of acorns. My cousin Jordan and I are modeling them.. so HOT!

A few days earlier Danny and I helped my mom make little mice dipped in chocolate. They are pretty fun to make and easy too!!

My Mom also made cute little Turkey Cookies!! She used eyeball gumballs from Halloween.. they are a little spooky! haha

Have you ever tried to swallow more than you could handle? I seem to constantly be doing that with work, school, a non-profit organization etc... It all seems to catch up to me and then I have to take a crash break from everything and start it up all over again. I loved this pic because sometimes I think that's me! hahaha!

8 Inches!!

So I did it I took the plunge into becoming more professional. I had my cute sister-in-law Laura cut my long hair off. I need to look a little older since no one in my Master's or workplace takes me seriously because they all think I'm 19!! Hm... Which isn't such a bad thing but when you're trying to move up the job ladder it doesn't help. Anyway here's a funny pic.. its gone!! I gave Danny the braided part :) hehehe

Happy Halloween!

Young Women Group Party Crew

So I actually got to dress up Twice this year!! I was in charge of decorating for the Young Women's Halloween party and everyone had to dress up. So I was a pirate arrr!! :) yea!

For the "real" Halloween party we went as a bloody doctor and nurse "feel good."

It was a killer party..literally..haha... and fun for Danny to get to see his crew for a while

The party was on Friday night before Halloween and sadly enough the night of Halloween we had to study and only ended up having 3 trick or treaters come to our door. They got hooked up with lots of treats :)

Disneyland!!

For Danny's sister Laura's 21st Birthday present we took her to Disneyland!! On the drive out we had to stop at the family favorite Capriotti's (an Italian sandwich shop).



We had a ton of fun going on all the rides and being kids again :)
We got two day park hopper passes so we had our fill of rides and fun.




My favorite was screamin California. I love music on roller coasters!! On Friday Kristin, Brett & Crue met up with us to go on a few rides. It was super fun to see Crue all excited.



Another favorite ride that we went on a couple of times was the tower of terror!!



On the drive home we did run into a little taste of the California fires. We were caught in the high winds which created a sand storm that knocked over two semi's and set another one on fire.



It was bizarre! After that traffic jam we made a small stop at the outlet malls outside of Vegas to shop for some .. Christmas present!! Yea!! Overall the trip was super fun and we made it home Ok

Danny and I went camping with Derek and Angel. We took the 4- wheelers and went clear up into farmington canyon. It was a fun ride and a chilly night!!
