MIA... sorry

Ok so I need to post some pics this weekend because Danny and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary!! Yea!! So we had a great weekend getaway. ALSO I've posted some pics on what has been keeping me super busy.. it's the start of Sweet N Pink. Yep.. Exile....

I have been exiled from my fun/crazy/crappy/wild office of 4 .... to an office away from everyone shared with the odd senior accountant. Why you may ask.. well my boss decided to hire her friend and felt like my desk was the perfect spot for her friend so regardless of the person actually working there apparently i was invisible and so I got the boot. The saying's true.. it's all about who you know and if you have the better desk.

So many feelings have crept up from this change...

(1) I feel like Kelly on The Office who talks too much so she is in her own little section in the back of the office away from everyone remotely fun.
(2) Do all guys eat all over their desk/keyboard/floor?!
(3) Am I being punished for something that happened in a previous life?
(4) This is a good change now I can get more work done.. wait is that a good thing... probably not
(5) I hope my two friends from my department still come and visit me and keep me from turning into the sweats wearing, golf watching, chatty kathy accountant guy I have to share a room with... help!
(6) Now I REALLY can't wait to leave this job in search of a better after I get my Master's degree in May.
Ok.. that's the end of my sad story. You office people will understand how it feels and for the rest of you may you never have to work in an office with a weird accountant that frequently smells like pee.

Happy Birthday Danny!

Since we had 5 days off I decided to take Danny on a surprise Birthday Trip to Mazatlan Mexico!! We had a great time relaxing on the beach!
While we were there we were able to ride horses on Stone Island, go Sea Kayaking, play with starfish on the coast, walk a mile down the beach, drink tons of pina coladas, and just enjoy being together. Happy Birthday Honey! I love you xoxox

Happy New Year! Yea it's 2009!

Happy 2009 everyone! We decided not to sit home so we went with Tiff to see Shawn's Band play at a New Years Eve party... it was pretty high class and a lot of fun!! Yea 2009!

That's tiff and I super excited for the new year... ok maybe I'm super super excited :)

The party couples! In between playing Shawn got to spend a little time with the party crew! So I have now spent 3 new years parties with Tiff & Shawn.. we might need to make this a tradition! Happy New Year!!

Ski Daysssss

Last week when Danny saw the snow storms coming in he decided it was time for some Ski Days! So we took advantage of a few deals and went skiing this week Wednesday- at Brighton and Thursday- at The Canyons. I just want to say.. ouch! I am so sore! I also took a nasty spill on Thursday that knocked me a little so my neck now feels like I have severe whiplash... I always think of a car wreck where you get whiplash and then sue the person who made your neck a little sore so now the question is... who do I sue for my neck's injustice?! The mountain?! Anyway I guess I'll just have to take my own punishment for going a little too fast down that mountain!

Christmas in the air!

So Danny and I have been so festive this Christmas season! Here's what we've been up to....
I would have to say that due to all the Christmas plays, trees, parties and cheer we are ready! I guess this all makes up for Danny actually having to work on Christmas this year :(

Thanksgiving Fun!

Ok so I know i'm a little late with posting.. but better late than never right?!
So we had a great Thanksgiving with my family in the morning/afternoon and then again with danny's family at night. I love family! I am just so grateful for all of them and for everything they do for me. I feel so blessed :)
So for my family my mom always likes to plan fun things so this year we all had a paper airplane flying contest and then Danny and I were supposed to come up with something "thanksgiving related" to share with everyone. So danny played the song "I'm a turkey... eat me!" it's hilarious if you haven't listened to it you should! And I found five fun facts about turkeys... so i thought i'd share them with everyone as well:
1. 19% of turkeys can have a virgin birth
2. When you pluck a turkey's feathers they have a dye in them that changes the meat colors so they don't look apatizing... hence now we have white feathered turkeys so our meat is nice and pretty (they can't out-fool us!)
3. Turkeys have "mood heads" their forehead tightens or goes limp depending on their mood AND best of all their neck can change ANY color depending on their mood- relaxed, happy, sad, excited...etc
4. Turkeys always talk together. If one turkey in a heard startes to talk then they all pipe in- they must all have an opinion i guess...
5. Turkeys can only see out of their perifreial vision so to heard them you have to do it from the side instead of behind them.
