We flew in to Long Beach and stayed in this awesome hotel by the bay and went to Knotsberry Farm. We usually go to Six Flags but thought we'd try something new. We were happily surprised by some awesome roller coasters. There is one in the pic below that shoots you up in the air so fast and then drops down and twists and stuff. It was sooo fun that we had to run through and do it a few times. (going this time of year is great!! The lines were so short this will always be my time of choice for amusement park visits) Well we decided to go on a few other roller coasters. I think we all got a little sick on this one that pulled you backward up this ramp and let you go then you hit a point where you do the whole thing backward! That was a stomach turner! haha anyway to finish off the night we decided to go on Ghost Rider. It is a roller coaster similar to the rickety white one at Lagoon... made of wood and just looked like fun. Well once it took off we were in for a ride! I have NEVER been on a roller coaster that went SOOO fast! I literally thought we were going to fly off the tracks.. it was super scary and fun all at the same time! So of course Danny and I had to do it again. haha.. this time we rode on the back and got whiplash so bad! It was super fun though. Below are some pics from the rest of our trip. We went on a three day cruise to Ensenada, Mexico and got to see the famous Blow Hole. We also went shopping a little, got some real vanilla and a black clay sculpture. It was fun to speak Spanish to everyone and just enjoy a relaxing vacation.

The water flows into the crack and then shoots up about 40-60 feet. It is one of the biggest ones in the world.

So without us knowing my Dad paid this cute girl to make bracelets for Danny and I that matched. She can make them in three min flat! That's some speed weaving!

My parents had a long day in Mexico and took a little nap on the bus ride back to the ship.
Banana Monkey!! They make cigars and have some crazy clubs.. i just liked the monkey : )

YAY!! Glad to see some pictures! I love the picture of your parents asleep....they are too cute! Don't u love being able to speak Spanish?? You, Danny and your Dad probably had a blast being able to use your language skills!! Jeremy and I are going on a cruise in May, and I HOPE ours is as relaxing as yours was for you!!!
How fun! Mark and I went on a cruise to Catalina and Ensenada and had bracelets of our names made too. They are so fast I could not believe it! It was amazing to watch them! What great pictures!! When are we going to hang out Morgan?
Looks like you guys had tons of fun! Did you like Kottsberry Farm or 6 Flags better? I think we're going to go this summer with my family!
Angie.. Knottsberry is fun for the family especially if you have little kids. Six flags is great for big roller coasters but the lines are a little longer sometimes.
