Happy Late Valentine's Day! Yea!! So while Danny and I were busy packing on Saturday I found my camera cord so I couldn't wait another min to post our fun Valentine's adventures. I woke up Valentine's morning to a "Wheat tortilla Love Crepe" That Danny made me using my special diet food and yes he even put the jam in a heart! So cute!!!
I tried to get him to pose for a pic with his crepe creation but he decided to be bashful.. love you xoxox
I made Danny a "Bag O' Love" full of fun surprises :)
Danny surprised me after work with a pink flower theme. He got me hot pink roses mixed with pink carnations ANDD he got me another bouquet that I put by our bed (I can't remember what they are called but they were super pretty)... Also he surprised me with dinner at Olive Garden and a trip to Mesquite for the three day golf & spa get away!! YEA!!

My parents came over that night too. My dad said that I was also his valentine so he got me something special..
This was from my Dad. He loves being creative and has such fun ideas. He had bracelets specially made for my mom and I out of special stones from all over the world! The two grey rocks are carved beads he was given on his mission in Ecuador! They had them dated back to 600AD!!! It makes me nervous to wear the bracelet but it sure is creative and beautiful!!
So Saturday we headed off to our Mesquite get away!! We decided to go up a day early so I could see one of my best friends from college Jodi!! She is living in St. George with her hubby and darling little girl Macy. We had a lot of fun going out to a Mongolian BBQ, to church on Sunday, and just chatting the night/day away! Thanks Jodi we had a ton of fun!! Next time we will stay longer :)
Macy is the happiest baby she just giggles all day long!! Jodi just got her this new quiet toy baby doll for church but every time she saw it she would scream and start laughing so hard that we couldn't let her have it during sacrament meeting! hahaha.. i guess it wasn't such a quiet doll after all!! This baby is 100% girl :)
Happy Macy and Jodi
So Monday we were ready for our golfing getaway!! Yea!! Danny and I got paired up with two other older guys and we killed them!! Yea!

The Golfing Duo... (this pic is taken with my phone! Pretty good huh!?!)

AHHH it was SOOO nice to see palm trees and the sun for a change! The weather was in the upper 60s the whole time. Perfect golfing weather!
So we decided that after we finished golfing around 3pm that we were still up for an adventure.. so Danny drove me to Las Vegas to see the Billagio Water Show (its my favorite thing in Vegas) We also went inside the Billagio. They had an exhibit to celebrate the year of the Rat. They make these extravagant gardens out of fresh plants and flowers. It was super pretty. Unfortunately I forgot my camera all day so our pics were all taken with my phone. I think they turned out ok. ... oh Danny and I also got each other new phones for V-day. we got matching t-mobile Dash's This is my first nice phone and its a PDA! I love it!!

Some guy saw us trying to take a pic of our heads together and offered to take our pic.. haha we must have looked silly trying over and over again to get a good pic :0)

Year of the Rat ... I think Danny was also born on the year of the rat.. I can't remember

You're never going to believe this!! Yes that behind me is PURE 100% Chocolate!! Yummy!! They have this on display in a new chocolate shop in the Casino!! Too bad I was on my healthy eating plan the treats looked amazing!! I think I may need one of these in my house some day... what do you think?

This was their very detailed treat display. The pic doesn't do them justice.. I wanted to eat them all! sigh... maybe next Vegas trip...
So on our way home on Tuesday the trip would not have been complete without a Capriotti's run. Yes my hubby is half Italian and back east in Delaware this is the famous Italian sub shop that everyone loves! They have this new one now in St. George and a few in Vegas. I think they should get on in SLC! Danny's favorite is "The Bobby" made with really turkey pieces, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. My favorite is the "Cole Turkey" made with turkey pieces and cole slaw with some sort of spicy sauce added. Love it!!

So that was the end of our fun Valentine's day adventure. It was our first Valentine's being married and I loved every min of it! I just want to say that I love Danny SOOOO much and I am so happy that his is my best friend. We have so much fun together all of the time and I'm so glad he loves to travel and try new things with me. You're my favorite Love you! xoxoxoxxo
