On Friday Danny submitted his application for medical school. After a LONG month of working on his submission he finally clicked that little submit button. He applied to around 20 schools so here's hoping he'll get into at least one of them :) preferably the U of U. I am so proud of him for sticking through this last year and doing all he could to strengthen his application. He really will make a great doctor and is an amazing husband.
My better note is that I am an official employee of the University of Utah! Yep! I quit my job at Hertz and I am now the accounts specialist for the OBGYN Clinical Research Department in the School of Medicine. I am super grateful for this job and so far since I've been there for three days I have been loving the change! The best thing that could happen now would be for Danny to get into the U of U School of Medicine and then we would get to see each other more and we'd get a discount on tuition!! But who knows if that will happen. Of course now that I work there I may have to change my BYU license plates to avoid any vandalism... but we'll just have to see how it goes :)
Anyway I've been a bit out of touch lately and between changing jobs and helping Danny with his med school apps it's been a wild past few weeks. But hopefully we will come out of our shells now and enjoy the summer with all of you!

Wow med. school applications are so stressful. I'm glad you can now kind of relax. You know it's not too late to change your mind ;) You'll have to keep us posted on how things are going. We are in the process of doing residency applications, so hopefully we'll know by next February. I'll be up in a couple of weeks so we'll have to get together. Good luck with everything.
I'm glad you are loving your new job Morgs! I SO hope that Danny gets into the U as well so that you can still be my neighbor for a while longer! :)

Hilarious... From Hertz to OBGYN Research... Good luck to Danny on getting in to Med School, we'll keep our fingers crossed. It looks like you guys are doing well.
