Goooo Cougars!!

So this year (with a lot of persuasion from Danny's friend Blake) we decided to get season BYU Football tickets along with about 20 other people. We have only been to one home game so far but it has been great. Well every year this BYU Group that we got tickets with goes on a trip to one away game. This year they chose the Washington Huskies vs. BYU in Seattle, Wa. Of course we didn't want to miss out on the fun either so on Friday after work we started the LONG drive with Blake and Taryn up to Seattle. Yes that's right we drove. I honestly didn't realize how long of a drive it really was (13 hrs). Anyway we got in friday night/morning at 5am slept for a few hours and were off to the game on Saturday. It was a super close game however BYU ended up winning by ONE point!! It was awesome!! I was a little fearful for my life however after we won because the fans were furious.. and even more furious at us for cheering for our team! So we had to literally wait until the stadium had cleared before we could leave. Security was even a little worried for us... geeze they were horrible fans in washington. After the game we went to Pike's Market just as it was closing. I'm glad Danny got to see the fish throwers for a few min. Then we went back to Taryn's dad's home in Gig Harbor where we stayed both nights. I wish we could have stayed longer because his home was AMAZING!! It was right on the water and after cooking us a BBQ feast he took our group of 10 on a boat ride around some of the islands where we saw the homes of Bill Gates, some investors, and other famous richies... and all in all I'm sold.. when Danny and I are rich and famous we will definatly be investing in a home out there!! :) We even stayed up a little later playing tennis out front of his house and then the best part was that Danny and I got to stay in his "guest house" just about his house which was a full house (kitchen, livingroom, bathroom,& garage with fun old cars) with one bedroom and a patio that overlooked the lake. It was sooo romantic and fun! AHH I wished we could have stayed a few days longer.. maybe next time :0) Then sunday we took the senic route home and got to drive through the forest and see Mount Kilamanjaro. It was a super fun trip however the drive was TOO long for the short time that we had there. I'm a flyer for future trips over 8hrs of driving.
