Happy Easter!

We had a super fun and enjoyable Easter this year. As usual we had a great class with our 17-18 year old Sunday School class. I still don't feel like I'm that much older than them but then reality sinks in when I realize that my 10 year high school reunion will be next year and they are just barely graduating! geezee.. that puts it into a little perspective. Well then we had a super amazing sacrament meeting. Sister Reynolds went through the Saviors life and all the things he has done for us asking questions all along if we are still following what he taught to his disciples and followers so long ago. It really made me think about improvements I could be making in my life to be a better example as a follower of Christ. The most amazing part of the Easter season in my mind is to see the new blossoms of spring on the trees and the grass starting to grow and reflecting on the amazing blessing of the Ressurection. Everything seems new and fresh when I think about this time of year and I am so grateful for the plan of salvation and all the blessings we are given daily.
To finish off the day... Danny and I came straight home to work on our Easter Cakes! Since we didn't get to decorate eggs this year I thought it would be fun to decorate Eggs on cakes! I think Danny did a great job for his first time ever working with fondant :) xoxox

Then we went to my parents house where we had a yummy lunch and then the festivities began... Danny, my cuz Austin and I all ran around looking for our "money eggs".. I scored $19 danny scored $8 and the big winner was my cuz austin with a whopping $23!! Then my dad had set up a pellet gun shoot out where we competed with my cousin austin, aunt kathy, uncle mark, danny, my mom, dad and danny for a box of pop tarts. Which then led to us shooting baloons that my mom set up for us with our airsoft & bb guns... which then led to a air soft war! I think I got hit 4 or 5 times and luckily no eyes were lost .. haha! I was happy that my cuz Jordan and her BF came toward the end too! It's always fun to see her :)
Our tuff old western gun pose with my red rider bb gun and super blingin ring :)

Around 5 we headed out to Danny's parents house where we had a Yummy Easter Dinner and opened easter baskets... I feel like a kid again getting so spoiled. I'm sure it will all end once we have kids of our own and then they will get all the Easter bunny surprises!
All in all we had a great day reflecting on the savior and spending time with family.

Cute cakes lady! Are you starting your own bakery or something "Sweet N Pink"? PS: are you growing out your hair? You look so different in that photo for some reason!!
