The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! The white coat ceremony symbolizes the entrance into the "doctor in training" world. It is a celebrated event in which family and friends are invited to attend. Thinking back on the past few years of marriage, through medical school applications, interviews, and finally acceptance it has been a long road to finally get to this very day. However, it's important to note that even before we were married Danny was preparing to become a doctor. He has literally been wanting this day to come since he was in elementary school. I am so proud of him for sticking with it. Looking forward to the next four years I know that his hard work will continue to pay off. I couldn't ask for a better husband and I am so thrilled that he is now able to realize his dream of becoming a doctor as he enters into medical school. The white coat ceremony was a night of mixed emotions for me as I realize now that I will see my husband less and less but I know that he is doing something he truly loves which is what matters most to me in the long run. Congratulations honey on passing one milestone. I can't wait to support you through the rest that are sure to come your way!! For now all I have left to say is Graduation in four years here we come!!
His coat! It's official.
Danny with the students waiting for the ceremony to begin. My mom just had to take a pic and give him a roll of life savers while he was waiting for his name to be called. Thanks mom!
SUPER excited for Danny and waiting for the ceremony to begin.
The ceremony starts with speakers from the school's administration followed by the actual ceremony. In this ceremony they read off where/what the student studied, hometown, and something unique.
