DTS Employees Receive Governor's Awards for Excellence
DTS employees Dwight Galloway, Jim Matsumura, Tim Cornia, Greg Jackson, and Nick Alleman were recipients of the Governor's Awards for Excellence during a ceremony at the Governor's mansion last week. The awards are an annual event to recognize the contributions of state employees in the categories of innovation and efficiency, leadership, and outstanding public service and humanitarianism. The award recipients were selected as examples of distinguished service and dedication to the citizens of Utah.

Dwight was given the Innovation and Efficiency award for his work on the Pre-Admission Screening Resident Review (PASRR) Team for the Department of Human Services. Dwight worked with the team at DHS to design an online application for the PASRR program that directly impacts the quality of life for individuals. The online application has increased efficiency and reduced work load by automating the management of paper, and individuals are placed faster from the hospital to a nursing facility.

Jim, Tim, Greg, and Nick were given the Innovation and Efficiency award for their work on the Data Center Consolidation. Each team member would agree that without the skill and hard work of their associates at DTS, this project would not have progressed as substantially and successfully as it did.
Thank you to all DTS employees for their work on these 2 projects. Please join me in congratulating these 5 individuals for this great achievement.
