Went to hear this guy for an hour. It was very patriotic and moving.. I couldn't believe how many people were there!! WOW!! It really touched me and I want to say how Proud I am to be American! I love freedom, I love that the constitution was created for OUR Nation under God, I love that We the People govern our country. It's inspiring to read those documents that allow Men, Women, Religion and Race to be recognized and treated fairly. I love America.

This was at the end when all religous leaders linked arms to stand united for America. (Pic taken from the GB Website)

Arial view of the masses!! I'm on the right next to the Lincoln Monument... can you see me?! (Pic taken from GB Website)

The Set up (Pic taken from the GB website)

This was driving that morning to drop our good friends off early at 6am. People were already starting to flood in. Some even spent the night out on the grounds. Kathy, Brad & Jake Piggott from my home ward in Bountiful came and stayed with us over the weekend and attended the Rally. It was great to have them and I hope they had fun seeing the sites of DC! Unfortunately on the day of the Rally there were so many people when we got there that we never found them. And I'm bummed that I didn't get any pics with them over the weekend!

Danny and I representing GW .. future docs of America! These shirts got both good and bad comments. Good from participants in the Rally and bad from those protesting the Rally.

This was the walkway.. eventually everyone stopped walking.. It was crazy!! We only stayed for an hour because Danny had to study but it was cool to support the cause of freedom.

Masses of peeps!!

The only person holding a sign.. Weird.. I didn't get it.

After walking back and getting harassed (called a racist over and over... ) by a protesting GW Public Health faculty member.. I was able to take some pics of the GW campus where Danny is going to Medical School. I never have my camera on me during the day so I thought this was a good chance to take some pics.

Magnolia tree that I pass everyday that I always want to take a pic of! It's been blooming for 3 months now :)

Entering into the couryard of the Medical school is the big GW head :)

On the left of the head is the Medical School.. this is where I also work!

On the right of the big head is the GW Hospital where Danny will have many of his rotations. I also go to the cafeteria here for lunch :) Hospital food.. yum.. (not)

View from the street of the Medical School and all the crazy vendors and homeless people that hang out at the corner. There is also a Metro stop behind the Tye-Dye shirt so it's a high traffic area. It's kinda fun to be downtown in the middle of the action.

There is one beautiful home by the medical center that has a flower garden in front of it! It always has like 20 butterfly's out there. Part of my nature walk :) Have to have some green in this concrete place!

bad camera.. wouldn't focus on the butterfly.. it thought the fence pole was more interesting.

Driving out of the city there were masses of people clear back to the Washington Monument.

Also Saw this biker rally later that day. There were thousands of bikes here!! It was hours after the rally so they must have been meeting up for an after party :)

We ended the night by meeting up with some friends for burgers at an amazing burger place here called Ray's Hell Burger. I think they make the best burger ever!! We had a great night!!
Can I say it again?!... I love America! Home of the Brave, Land of the Free!
