It was my sweet Mom-in-law's birthday. Since we aren't there to celebrate with her we sent her a "party in a box" which included a special card from her Alien Son Danny, some peepsters chocolates, tasty cakes, and some custom made jewelry from me :) I have really enjoyed talking with her every Sunday when we get our weekly updates. She is an amazing person and great example to our family.
The pic above is actually the cake I made for her a couple years ago and I took that pic with my phone.. just re-living the memories :)
Since I had stargazers in my wedding bouquet she went out and got this plant in memory of my wedding! Isn't that so thoughtful?! I was thrilled when I was able to see it bloom just before we left to move to DC.
This is the only pic I could find of all the "Wilcoxson Girls" + Joe from our fun family trip to Island Park in 2008.
Happy Birthday Mary-Jo!! We love having you as our mom and hope you had a fun birthday!! Can't wait to see you guys over the holidays :)

ps.. her birthday is on our half anniversary. So Danny and I have now been married for 3 1/2 years! woot woot!! So glad she raised such a great guy for me to marry!!
