After church we started driving to Granada… again we got a little lost so we ended up back tracking for 45 min but all in all it was a very beautiful scenic drive. We made it to our Skinniest hotel in the world!! Hotel Molinos.. it’s pretty skinny but we have the BEST room on the 2nd floor that looks out straight into the center of town. We are within walking distance from the Alhambra. Since our tickets are for tomorrow afternoon we went around town and saw a HUGE cathedral and enjoyed walking down the scenic cobble stone streets. I can’t wait to show you all pics!! Then we had to finish off the night right in Granada.. here they are known for their free Tapas. Tapas are given when you buy a drink you get a free tapa which is like an appetizer kind of so we wandered around a bit trying to find an authentic place and we stopped at one restaurant and the waiter came out and talked to us for a bit and I explained to him what we were looking for and he said “ I’ll take you to the best one” and he walked us down the street and around the corner to a sweet little place that was exactly what we were looking for! We got all sorts of drinks (don’t worry they were non-alcoholic haha) and we got sausage on bread, tortilla de patata, sliced ham (jamon cerano), some pork loin and some octopus with potatoes that was smothered in a sweet tomato sauce. It was a feat for only $20! Now that’s a small town deal. Now we are back in our hotel watching some sick Michael Jackson concert from the 80s.. can life get better than this? I’ll be sad when it ends in two weeks and it’s back to the grind stone!
World Famous Ice Cream
I loved this little door!
Our late night stop at the bar for Tapas! YUMMY!!
