So we started the day off with some yummy weird tart things that the Missionaries said were only found in Granada.
Lunch Time Kaybob style!
Spicy Ice cream?! Is this possible?!
Where our hike to the Alhambra began outside of our hotel.
Today we had tickets to go to the Alhambra at 1:30pm so in the morning we slept in of course and then went and had doner kabobs YUM and some ice cream from a famous ice cream place. They even have Chocolate Picante which really was spicy chocolate! wierd! Anyway after that we hiked up the hill to the alhambra. What an amazing place with such intricate detail. I can't believe how amazing some of the buildings were. Unfortunately they were remodeling parts so we missed some of it but what we were able to see was breath taking. Danny camcorded the whole thing and I took pics :) Then we went to the gardens attached to the alhambra which were also super beautiful. They have a lot of running water everywhere with beautiful trees and flowers. It was a great experience.
Danny in one corner and me in the other we were able to whisper secrets! SO FUN!
Running water everywhere!
This was hilarious.. not only is it don't touch because you'll get electrocuted.. oh no.. you'll just DIE!
I liked the door knocker.. he looks scared!
Upper view of the Alhambra from the gardens.
Still in love and enjoying BEAUTIFUL Spain!
Our drive to Madrid.. it was OLIVE groves as far as the eye could see!! This view lasted for at least 30 miles! When you have to supply the world with olive oil you have to grow a lot of olives!

Oh Granada was such a beautiful city & the Alhambra is just breathtaking! Randy (my hubby) ate donner kabob's almost every day on his mission (in Holland & Belgium) and he searched all over Spain for them when we were there. Granada was the only city that he could find them & boy were the delicious! I fell in love with them & wish we could find them around here!
