So on our way to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore we made a little stop at Charm City Cakes.. yes.. that's right.. I was there!! Charm City Cakes are on the Food Network and are just basically my idols in the cake world. They can do ANYTHING.. literally anything. Google them for more info.. so after taking pics and trying to peep in their blacked out windows we were on our way to the wedding!
The wedding was on the edge of the lake and luckily the rain didn't come until an hr after the wedding when we were safe inside! It was so sweet though cuz my co-worker Steve got so choked up and excited when he saw his beautiful bride coming down the isle toward him it made my heart jump for them! It was just a sweet moment for such a fun pair. I think Steve is one of the nicest guys and I'm so happy for them!
After the wedding the FUN began!! They had this cute cake topper to start off the animal fun...
They had an African Crane.. Super Beautiful!
And a PENGUINE!!! Woot WOOT!!!
The lady holding the penguin knew all about them!! Sorry.. can't remember her fun facts or I would share them with you all.. Let's just say Penguins are fun :)
Last but not least... I liked the table set up. They had these vases with our names waiting for us so we took ours to our table. Mine was the "hippo" because at GWU the unofficial mascot is the hippo so this was our work table. All in all it was a fun night. I love weddings cuz it reminds me of my sweet hubby and how much I love him and am so happy that I am his wifey! xoxo
