As we pulled into Buffalo we were STARVINGGG!! So Danny remembered that his friend had AMAZING Buffalo wings in Buffalo!! So we asked the toll booth operator if she knew of any good places and she suggested Duff's as a local fav. Well... I'm not so sure what people think Buffalo wings are supposed to be but THESE were NOT what I expected. I guess I'm used to the Winger's wings so I was a bit disappointed. However, I think the pic below describes how my parents felt... haha..
We got 3 different types, mild, spicy, and extra spicy!! Yes they burned my mouth off... not a fan.
Then it was off to see Niagra Falls at night!! SO COOL!!! We were on the American side ( Danny and I forgot our passports... boo) And they have lights that shine from the Canadian side. They even switch the colors for a little light show. It was just so amazing to see all the water pouring
The next day we were back to see the view in the glorious sunshine!
Yes I was a bit crabby that day and did NOT want my pic taken... Then I was promised a candy bar (see below) haha jk.. but I did smile for the sake of the beautiful scenery.
Off to the Maid of the Mist tour! My mom was ready!! It was SUPERRR hot waiting in line with the ponchos so she decided to superwoman her poncho. :)
Ready to embark! So the tour takes you on this little ship all the way up close to the falls!! There are two sections of the falls one is a side and the other is a horse shoe. They took us all the way into the horseshoe one!! I couldn't believe how amazing it was. Luckily Danny rigged up a baggie protector for my camera otherwise my camera would have been ruined from the water!!

Right next to the falls!! All the rest of my pics turned out odd and super white. At least you could see the falls in a few of them. I'll have to post a video when I can figure out how to do that!
Yes.. that was my peep hole. I didn't really want to get my beautiful face & hair wet!! I'm a cat at heart and hate getting wet!

After the fun we stopped to eat at the FIRST Home of the Buffalo wings.. and yes it was MUCH better!! I was impressed!! YUMMM!
And that ended our stay in the New York area. Next up .... Hershey, PA!!
