I was able to snag some pics of our little boat and the inlet we paddled across (see previous post)
This is the cool beach fence and sand hill that separated the ocean from the inlet. After our little canoe excursion we went into Kennebunkport to try out the famous Clam Shack!
Can you see Danny on the side?! He LOVES Clams and so he got some steamed ones and had to dive right in!! :)
My parents got a lobster roll and some fried clams. The fried clams were to DIE for!! I'm not a huge fried foods fan but these were amazing.. I'm still dreaming of them!!
I tried some clam cakes. Let's be honest here though.. we all split up our goods and passed them around so we could have a variety sampler. The clam cakes were so rich that I only made it through one of them.
I think the steamed clams were the hit!!
We then drove through some of the towns along the coast, saw Pres Bush's home.. so cool!! And took a family pic. I think I'll have to frame this one!! Then it was off to Palmyra... the fun continues....
