It was SO fun to have my parents come visit us!! Since they were going to make the trip out I took two weeks off of work and Danny had just finished his finals so we decided to have an awesome East Coast Vacay!! Our first stop up the coast was New York!!! New York!! New York!! ( think of the Alecia Keys song.. I really love that one) Anyway we had never been to the Empire State Building so to avoid the lines we went there first thing int he morning.
This is just outside the elevators.
So after taking one set of elevators up 80+ stories we had to get off and go through a line to the next set of elevators. My dad decided he didn't want to wait so he would take the stairs. I think he had to go 5 Empire flights!! My mom decided to follow him too.. Danny & I opted for the elevator :)

The Concrete Jungle.. Isn't it an amazing view?! It was a big foggy that day since it was so early but I didn't mind. The temp was perfect!
We all had to peep through the telescope to see some of the sites. I snagged the pic below through my view! Statue of Liberty!!
Then we had to do the "tourist" thing and try on the craziest hat in the building!
Then it was off to see the Stanton Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. We wanted to climb the crown but tickets were all sold out so we decided to go the free route and take the ferry. Next time we'll make the climb :)
My dad decided to get some chicken ka-bob- hot dog things?? They were yummy!
*Disclaimer... So at the end of the night my dad accidentally left his camera in a taxi!! A lot of the pics I thought he took that I decided not to take were on his camera :( so the rest of the trips I was the official photographer.. it was just unfortunate that we lost all his pics + camera on our NY day. So enjoy the pics we did get.

We took them (k this one was for my Mom) to the Best Chocolate Restaurant in the WORLD!!
When you walk in it just smells like dark chocolate goodness everywhere.

We got the "sharing"platter which was basically a bit of EVERYTHING on the menu!! Most delicious ever! Plus they had added a new tiramasu (sp?) to the platter which was my all time favorite! (photo of Danny & I ... left in the taxi)
Danny & My dad waiting for us in the $1 jewlery store!! Had to stop to check it out.. it made me laugh that they were both so tired and staring at the wall waiting for us to finish! hahaha.. ahh such good guys :)

That night we drove to Stamford, CT around 1am spent the night and drove to Boston early the next morning...
